Join us on Friday 9 October or Saturday 10 October for an evening where food and art come together.
For these two dinners, we have invited Anisa Nachett, the Moroccan-British multidisciplinary artist and designer whose work is currently on view at Galerie Poche. Her practice explores the geometry of tradition and craft, the freedom of the hand, and the space between her diasporic worlds.
During the evening, Anisa will be joined by Emma Waslander, curator and consultant, for a conversation about her work, her vases, her background and the stories behind the exhibition. And if you fall for one of Anisa’s vases, you can take one home with you that evening.
Dinner will be prepared by Mina Abouzahra and Fadma, founder of the weaving cooperative in Taznakht, Morocco, that Mina has worked with for many years. Fadma brings the flavours and traditions of her home to Amsterdam for two evenings around a shared table.
